Since it has been rainy, windy, cold, and snowy almost EVERY Wednesday for the last few months our Going Green Garden Club students have not been doing much outdoors. Instead, they came up with the great idea of creating a "how-to recycle" video for our school community. Our school recycles water bottles, paper, glue sticks and Capri Sun packets. The glue sticks and Capri-Suns are sent to Terra Cycle, a company that pays our school a small amount for each of these that we save. The money collected from our recycling will help fund the school garden. One of our club members featured below is super excited about this and created a great costume to help inspire students in our school to recycle old glue sticks.
